I have a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education, also for fun sake, an Associate of Arts in Photography. I have been trained in ACEs, which stands for adverse childhood experiences and my teaching practices reflect that training. This practice includes offering a safe environment, providing positive challenges for student growth, and being a caring adult. I love to learn and teaching is one of the best ways to continue learning.

I moved to Monroe, NC from Spokane, WA to marry my husband, Christopher! We have five silly cats, a trusty dog, six helpful chickens, a fast turtle and an amazing baby boy, Eliaser!
