President Polk Historic Birthplace
Learn all about the life of our 11th President, who was born in Mecklenburg county! This is a wonderful museum and recreated site that will offer a lot of information for our History Buffs! We also will have a special presentation about how clothing was made here in the 19th century.

Brattonsville Field Trip
We will travel back in time to see what life was life for the people who lived on the plantation at Brattonsville. This will include demonstrations, a walking tour, stories, questions and more! Brattonsville is a living history museum with authentic structures and amazing historians. Don't forget the gift shop!!!
