Discover what makes a bird a Raptor or Bird of Prey, unique characteristics that help these birds survive, why these birds are important and conservation actions that you can take to help. Meet avian ambassadors, participate in interactive activities, engage in observations, explore biofacts, and ask questions.
This one-hour program includes a 40-minute presentation with avian ambassadors on the glove followed by 20-minutes of Q&A and exploration of biofacts.
Registration required. Tickets are $16 for anyone NOT enrolled in Friday classes. Students who are enrolled in Friday classes are automatically invited to participate at no additional fee. This event will take place in the indoor gymnasium at the Monroe location. Please arrive 15 minutes before the event begins. Late entrances might not be admitted as it is distracting and distressing to the birds the staff will bring with them.
