Rachael Price is a dedicated educator, passionate advocate for students with learning challenges and differences, and a true warrior in both her personal and professional life. As the founder of The Learning Habitat, LLC, Rachael has poured her heart and soul into creating an educational environment that embraces diversity and supports all students in their learning journeys. With a wealth of experience as both a public and private school teacher, Rachael understands the unique needs of each student and works tirelessly to create an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere. Her commitment to whole-child education ensures that students receive not only academic instruction but also the emotional and social support they need to thrive. In addition to her work in education, Rachael is a Type One Diabetes and Lupus Warrior. Her personal journey with these health challenges has fueled her passion for raising awareness and supporting others in the diabetes community. Rachael is the founder of Dia-Be-Tees, LLC, a diabetes awareness and apparel business that seeks to empower individuals with diabetes and spread knowledge about this condition.

Rachael's dedication to making a difference doesn't stop there. She is also the President of the EJE Memorial Education Fund, Inc., a scholarship fund that provides need-based scholarships for homeschooling families. Through this initiative, Rachael is breaking down barriers to education, ensuring that all students, regardless of their learning needs, have access to quality educational experiences.

Rachael and her husband, Shannon, have called Charlotte home for nineteen years and have three children: Julianna, Scarlett and Everett.

Rachael is humbled and excited to be selected as a winner for the 2023 Charlotte SCORE Pitch for Growth, the VELA Grant, and a crowd-funded Kiva Loan.
