The Learning Habitat
About The Learning Habitat

We educate the whole child.

We educate the whole child, physically, emotionally, and intellectually, with a focus on outdoor education and child-led learning.

Every child is a natural-born learner. We just help them love learning again.

Our philosophy

Academic purpose and whole-child care, together.

Through hands-on, differentiated, creative and critical-thinking focused lessons, we help all learners be successful. Outdoor and child-led learning deepens our curriculum — it never replaces the fundamentals of reading, writing, and math.

With small class sizes and highly qualified teachers and tutors, we meet every learner where they are and grow their confidence, character, and academics side by side.

What we believe

We believe all children:

can learn.

have unique abilities and strengths.

are worth the effort.

can achieve great things.
