Forest Immersion Programs
Our Forest Immersion Program held at Stevens Creek Nature Center and Elon Park is designed to connect the natural world and core academics — so the purpose of the classroom comes alive under the trees.
Where core subjects meet the natural world.
With a focus on nature exploration, critical thinking, creativity and environmental education as well as core subjects such as science, ELA, history, art, and social studies, students make amazing connections with the world around them. For homeschoolers, this offers a meaningful way to connect core academics with hands-on, outdoor learning. We encourage problem solving and independent learning opportunities. Hiking, experiments, play and learning all happen under the trees, in the creeks and in the mud.
