Our fifth year begins: Growing together at The Learning Habitat
We are so excited to begin a new school year with more than 200 students, four locations, and a community that welcomes every educational journey — from TK through Twelfth grade.

There is a special kind of excitement that comes with the start of a school year. New questions are waiting, new friendships are beginning, and a whole new season of learning is ready to unfold. This year feels especially meaningful at The Learning Habitat because we are beginning our fifth year.
Five years in, our excitement is still rooted in the same simple idea: learning should feel purposeful, hands-on, creative, and joyful. We cannot wait to welcome our students back and to meet the students joining us for the first time.
From 60-some students to over 200
When The Learning Habitat began, we were serving 60-some students in one location. As we begin our fifth year, our community has grown to over 200 students across four locations. That growth is something we are deeply grateful for — and it is a reminder of the trust families place in us every day.
The numbers tell one part of the story. The more important part is the community behind them: students discovering what they can do, families finding a school that fits, and educators showing up ready to know and support the learners in front of them.
Every student brings a different beginning
One of the things we are most excited about this year is the range of educational journeys represented in our community. Our students come to The Learning Habitat from homeschool, public schools, private schools, and charter schools. For some students, this will be their first ever school. We are deeply grateful for the faith and trust parents place in us when they choose The Learning Habitat for their children, and we are honored to welcome each family into our community.
A school community that grows with its learners
We are so excited to get to know all of our students, from TK through Twelfth grade. Each age brings a different kind of energy, perspective, and possibility to our community. Together, our learners help make The Learning Habitat the place it is.
Whether a student is taking their first steps into school or beginning a new chapter after time in another setting, we want this year to be a place where they can build confidence, ask meaningful questions, and keep growing as themselves.
Here's to our fifth year together
To our returning families: thank you for continuing to grow with us. To the families joining The Learning Habitat this year: welcome. We are honored to be part of your child's next chapter.
We are ready for the questions, the discoveries, the muddy shoes, the big ideas, the small breakthroughs, and all the moments in between. Most of all, we are excited to get to know every student and to begin this fifth year as one learning community.
